Moving the blocks

Every piece on the board belongs to one of the coloured gates, and your task is to deliver each one to the right place. When the last block has gone, the board is clear and the level is done. The first puzzles are the easiest, which makes the rules simple to pick up before anything new is added.

Harder boards later on

The game holds thousands of hand-built levels, and the difficulty rises as you work through them. New mechanics, obstacles and challenges are introduced along the way, so a board may ask for something the previous one did not. Because there is no clock, it is worth studying a fresh layout before touching it: look at what stands between each block and its gate, and decide what has to move first. Thinking a few moves ahead is the core skill here.

Three boosters for tight spots

When a puzzle refuses to give way, three boosters can help. The Saw slices through blocks that are causing trouble, the Hammer breaks one block of your choosing, and Magic clears three blocks at random. The Hammer is the precise option, because you decide exactly which block goes; Magic is more of a gamble, since you have no say in what it removes. That makes the Hammer the one to keep for the single block that is really holding you up.

Who it suits

The game is aimed at players of all ages, and the design backs that up: the rules fit in a sentence, there is no timer, and the difficulty climbs over a very long run of levels. It blends colour matching with a little strategy and pleasing visuals.
