100 Doors - Escape from Prison

A journalist behind bars

Beren is a reporter who likes to dig for the truth, and that habit seems to have landed him in a cell. His attempt to break free turns into an investigation of its own. Along the way you try to work out why he was locked up and to reveal the criminals hiding inside the prison.

How the rooms work

This is a 2D escape room game with point-and-click play. Each level fits on one screen, so you can look over every corner and inspect anything that seems odd. The target is always the same: solve the puzzles and open the door to move further into the prison. Some doors need a key you have to track down, others need a logic puzzle solved or an item used in just the right way. Trying different ideas is encouraged.

Gathering evidence

Escaping is only part of the story. Special collectibles are tucked away around Luhest, and each one counts as proof. Put enough of them together and you help Beren build a case against the people running crime behind the walls.

Tips

• Look for shapes that match a key, and for objects that do not belong.
• Small details can matter, so check everything on screen.
• Later cells get trickier, so take your time.
• Use the hint button when you need it.
