How to search a scene well

You have two ways of looking around: panning left and right, and zooming in. A steady routine makes good use of both. Take the list one item at a time, move slowly from one edge of the scene to the other, and zoom in whenever a patch looks crowded, since small objects are easiest to miss where things are packed together. When you run out of ideas, the assistant’s hints are there for exactly that moment.
