How a level works

Every level puts a pair of detailed, funny illustrations in front of you. They look alike, but five small changes have been slipped into them, and you click or tap each one as you find it. There are 30 levels in all, each one handcrafted, and the scenes become more bizarre as you progress. The game was made with kids and families in mind, and it plays in the browser on both mobile and desktop.

Where the changes hide

Not every change is easy to spot, and some are downright sneaky. The game’s own tips make a handy checklist. Look for a color that has been swapped for another, an item that is missing from one picture, or a detail that has been turned into something sillier. There are no timers and nothing hurries you, so you can go over each part of the scene against that list without any rush. The levels get stranger the further you go, and the advice is to keep your eyes sharp as they do.

The cast

The scenes star a cast of absurd characters. Tralalero Tralala is a three-legged shark in bright sneakers with plenty of attitude, whether he is leaping through the mayhem or scrapping with Bombardino Crocodilo. Bombardino himself has a crocodile’s head on the body of a Second World War bomber plane, and he spreads more confusion than bombs. Tung Tung is a walking wooden drum carrying a baseball bat, modeled on the Indonesian bedug; the description points out that he is a crossover guest rather than true Italian Brainrot. Ballerina Cappuccina dances gracefully through scenes of pure nonsense, with a cappuccino cup where her head should be.
