How a level works

Each level is a black-and-white drawing with frogs hidden in it, and the job is to find every one. Tapping or clicking a frog reveals its colours, which makes the frogs you have already found stand out against the rest of the picture. Find them all and the level is complete.

Difficulty varies from beginner to expert, so some levels will take more searching than others. When a frog refuses to show itself, the Magnifying Glass power-up is there to help by giving away where the frogs are hiding.

Worlds and the album

Levels come in themed worlds of three. The settings named include farms, swamps, cities, enchanted forests, beaches and pirate islands, and there are more beyond those. Each world has its own unique frogs, so every new world brings new ones to discover.

The frogs you find go toward a collection album, and filling that album is the long-term goal. Finishing all the levels in a world also adds a special frog themed on that location to your collection, a reward for seeing a world through to the end rather than dipping in and out.

A calm kind of search

The game presents itself as relaxing, with simple controls meant for players of all ages. Its look supports that: the backgrounds are black and white, and the frogs bring the colour. It suits anyone after a gentle puzzle to wind down with, and younger players who can manage a tap or a click.
