The shot and the swap

Everything starts with the bubble loaded in your blaster. Its colour tells you where it can help: fire it at bubbles of the same colour and they pop. The game also gives you a way out of a bad draw. If the colour you are holding has no useful target, you can switch it for a different one instead of forcing a poor shot.

That swap is the first habit worth building. Before each shot, compare the loaded colour with the board, and change it as soon as it does not fit anything you want to hit.

Levels, stars and coins

Bubble Blast is split into a long list of levels, and you earn coins as you work through them. Three stars is the mark to aim for, and boosters are there to help you get it. The game also promises bonuses to keep the play fresh, and there are quests to complete as well.

When it gets harder

The goal is to empty the board entirely, and that grows more demanding the further you go: later levels call for more skill and more tactical thinking than the early ones. In practice that means looking a few shots ahead instead of firing at the first match you see, and treating the swap as a planning tool rather than an emergency button.

A game for the commute

Its own pitch describes Bubble Blast as the sort of game you and the people around you end up playing on the way to work in the morning. That fits the shape of it: one board at a time, with a daily reward for anyone who comes back.
