About Shogi Japanese Chess
Play shogi, the Japanese form of chess: checkmate the enemy king, put captured pieces back into play, and take on the AI, a friend or online rivals.
How to play
Win by checkmating the enemy king: it is under attack with no way to defend itself or escape.
- Players take turns, one move each, and White goes first.
- On your turn, move one of your pieces by its rules or place a captured piece from your reserve.
- A piece that reaches the enemy camp can be strengthened, and it flips over.
- Play the computer, a friend sharing your device, or a rival online.
