Trains and routes

On the rail side, you can buy new trains, upgrade the ones you already run and customise the routes they follow. Routes deserve real thought, because the game asks you to set them up so that each visitor brings in as much profit as possible. A sensible route plan earns more from the same crowd.

More than a set of platforms

Not everything happens on the tracks. You can acquire more spaces and waiting halls and furnish them as the station grows. Progress also opens up the network: new railway platforms, new destinations and new trains to add to your collection all become available as the station develops, and gaining access to every platform and destination is one of the long-term aims.

Two further systems help the business along. Daily and regular tasks hand out valuable rewards when you complete them, which makes them worth checking each time you play. Technology points are the other lever: you allocate them to improvements for the station and for the trains.
