Damage you can watch

The damage model is what the game is built around, and it calls it realistic. In a hard enough crash, doors tear away, hoods fold up and wheels break loose, and B gives you slow motion so you can watch a crash unfold. When a car has taken too much, K repairs it, R flips it back if it has rolled over, and N moves you on to the next car.

Zones full of tools

The map is a sandbox, and parts of it are zones stocked with ways to destroy things. The game names giant hammers, hydraulic crushers and mega ramps, and says there are more besides. Its invitation is to drive straight through them and see what is left of the car afterwards.

Tuning what you find

New cars are out in the world waiting to be discovered, and tuning is how each one becomes yours. You can change the full body color or work on individual parts, and the wheels can be adjusted for size, height and camber. The point is to style a car your own way before, or instead of, driving it into something heavy.

Three ways to play

The game leaves the choice to you. Some players will be there to break things, some to pull off stunts, and some just to roam the open world. C changes the camera for whichever view suits what you are doing, Shift adds nitro when you want more speed, and Tab pauses when you need a break.
