Klondike games

Klondike is the solitaire game most people picture when they hear the word. In the standard version, the cards are laid out in seven columns that you build downward in alternating colours, and the goal is to sort the whole deck by suit onto four foundations, each climbing from ace to king. Klondike Solitaire Paradise, Solitaire Grande and Ali Baba Solitaire head the shelf. For the traditional deal, Classic Klondike and Classic Solitaire are natural starting points, while Double Klondike, Gargantua Double Klondike, Double Solitaire and Freecell Klondike Solitaire promise a twist on the formula by their names alone.

Themed versions add a change of scenery: Christmas Solitaire, Flower Solitaire and Cup of Tea Solitaire dress the same patience game in their own style. Klondike rewards thinking ahead, so before each move it pays to ask which face-down card you most want to uncover next.
