About StreetRacer: Realistic Destruction

StreetRacer: Realistic Destruction is a car sandbox set in a large open world, and its real subject is the wreck. Crashes tear parts and wheels off the cars, the damage is meant to look realistic, and between smash-ups you can tune your car or invent challenges of your own.

A playground built for crashes

The game presents itself as a destruction playground. You get a big open world and the freedom to roam it, and the crashes are the main attraction: parts break loose, wheels come flying off, and the damage physics aim for realism. The streets are not empty either, since the game simulates traffic that moves around you. The objective is left wide open: wreck, tune and explore for as long as you like.

Tools, a press and ramps

Crashing into things is only one way to cause damage. There is a large set of destruction tools to experiment with, and there are press and ramp areas you can interact with. Between the traffic, the tools and those areas, there is plenty of material for the challenges the game asks you to invent for yourself.

Tuning the car first

Customization is one of the listed features, and it covers a lot. You can change the full exterior of a car, and you can tune its wheels and its suspension. That lets you build a car to your own taste before you wreck it.

Keys that keep you going

Because wrecking cars is the point, several keys deal with the aftermath. K repairs the damage, R resets the car, and N swaps in a new vehicle, so a wrecked car never has to end the session. B drops the action into slow motion, which suits watching parts come away in a big impact, and C changes the camera so you can pick your view of it. Shift is the boost, Space works the handbrake, and Tab pauses. Mobile players get on-screen buttons to tap instead of keys.
