About Sprunki Sandbox: Ragdoll Playground Mode
Sprunki Sandbox: Ragdoll Playground Mode is a 2D physics sandbox built around the Sprunki characters. You fill the field with characters, weapons and structures, set them against each other and watch the ragdoll physics decide what happens next.
Placing, arming and adjusting
Everything starts with a left-click. Pick a character or an item, then drag it onto the field or click the spot where it should appear. Left-clicking an item brings up its action menu, and the scroll wheel adjusts the scale.
The arsenal runs from simple blades to heavy firepower: swords, pistols and other guns, rockets and rocket launchers, and lasers, with more beyond those. Every body is a ragdoll, so when something hits a character it flops and tumbles according to the physics, and the game invites you to sit back and watch that happen.
Fighting, building and destruction
The game frames its toys around three kinds of play. Fighting means arming the characters and staging battles between them, with different types of weapon on each side if you want to see how they compare. Building means putting up structures, laying traps and making arenas of your own. Destruction is the most direct of the three: blow things up, smash them and break them apart. Alongside all of it, you can take control of Sprunki and cause trouble in person.
Ideas for a first session
The pitch is your world and your rules, so the entertainment comes from the scenes you invent. A few starting points follow straight from the tools on offer. Build a small arena, drop two armed characters into it and let them fight it out. Add a few traps to the arena as well. Put up a structure and then try taking it down with a rocket launcher. Each setup is a small experiment, and the physics has the final word on how it turns out.
