Four elements and an anvil

Everything grows from the four classical elements. The anvil will try any pair you give it, and each attempt ends in one of two ways. Either something new is added to your collection, or nothing happens at all. A pair that fails still teaches you something, because it rules out one combination. The results cover a wide range. Some are what you would expect, some come from chemistry, and quite a few are jokes, so common sense only takes you part of the way.

A library of 1,214

The full collection holds 1,214 elements spread over fourteen categories, covering weather, creatures, space, myth, culture and more. With that many entries, finding what you already have matters, and the instant search handles it: type a name and anything you have discovered comes straight up. Progress is saved automatically as well, so you can stop and come back later without starting over.

The chase for Legendaries

Twenty-five Legendary elements wait at the far end of the deepest chains, and the game is clear that reaching one is the real point of playing. Getting there means following a line of discoveries step by step, with each new element becoming an ingredient for the next combination. When a chain seems to stall, the search box is the quickest way to review what you own before trying fresh pairs.

Daily Quests and smith ranks

There is also a Daily Quest, which resets on UTC time. Completing it builds a streak, and your smith rank rises from the same source, so a visit each day moves both forward even on days when you are not working toward a Legendary.
