Sobre Quarantine Zombies

Quarantine Zombies puts you in charge of containing an outbreak. You lay walls across city blocks to seal every zombie into a small zone, before any of them catches you or hits a wall you are still building.

Walls against the horde

In Quarantine Zombies, walls are your tool and the city is your board. You steer through the blocks and build walls as you go, with the aim of cutting the zombies off from the rest of the city. Close an area around them and they are quarantined. The goal is to leave no zombie roaming free.

Danger while you build

An unfinished wall is your weak spot. Zombies have to be shut in before they reach you, and before they crash into a wall you have not completed. On top of that, new zombies can appear, so you cannot linger over every section. The game asks for care and speed at the same time: close off the infected zones cleanly, but do it quickly.

Keep your zones small

The game’s own hint is to trap zombies in compact areas, and there is a firm limit behind that advice: an infected quarantine area can be no larger than 16 squares. Planning small, tight enclosures from the start keeps you inside that limit and leaves the zombies less room.

Controles

On a computer, the arrow keys steer you and build the walls, Space starts or restarts a game, P pauses and R retries. On a phone or tablet, a swipe anywhere on the screen steers and builds, and on-screen buttons handle play, pause and retry.

Quick tips

Seal off small areas one at a time instead of one huge zone.
Keep an eye on zombies near any wall you are still building.
Move with purpose, since new zombies can turn up.
