That income allows you to unlock stronger pickaxes and hammers, break higher tier eggs, and expand your base up to 3 floors. Brainrots disappear if you fail to bring them to the safe zone in time. Skeleton enemies chase you when you carry them, creating constant tension. You can also collect tickets, which unlock cosmetics, pets, and even allow you to steal Brainrots from other players.
