Tap, earn, improve

The loop is easy to pick up. Every tap or click on the spring sends a ripple across the water and pays out coins, and those coins go straight back into the spa. Tap power makes each touch worth more. Other upgrades bring warmer water and better comfort, and new terraces can be cut into the surrounding rock. The more you invest, the nicer the spa becomes, and all the while the axolotls keep arriving.

Twelve axolotls to collect

Twelve varieties of axolotl can make the spring their home. Once a variety is unlocked it never leaves, and it keeps swimming around your spring permanently, so the collection only ever grows. Petting one gives a small bonus, which is a good reason to watch the residents as well as the water.

The Grand Reopening

At some point the spa reaches the limit of how grand it can get. That is the moment to hold a Grand Reopening. It clears away the current build, but in return you receive Pearls, and Pearls grant permanent multipliers that stay with you afterwards. It is the prestige system familiar from idle games: give up your progress now in order to earn faster from then on. Because the Pearls are permanent, each reopening leaves you better placed than the one before.

Coming back each day

Lotl Spa rewards returning. Earnings keep piling up overnight while you are away, ready for you when you come back, and daily visits bring the Daily Visitor. Between the banked coins and the permanent Pearls, even a short check-in moves the spa forward.
