How a round works

Every round of Memory Cards comes in two steps. First, the game lays out a set of playing cards, and you try to fix in your mind both which cards they are and the order they go in. Then you have to find those same cards again and select them in the right sequence. Getting the cards right is only half the job, because the order counts just as much. On a computer you pick a card with a click of the mouse; on a touch screen, a tap does the same.
