A successor to a classic

The description of TenTrix starts with a thought about classics: you cannot tell which games will stand the test of time until enough time has passed. Tetris is one that did, and it has since inspired a string of successors, TenTrix among them. The formula has been remade many times over, and most versions keep the colorful blocks in their recognizable arrangements. In TenTrix, each piece is an arrangement of blocks, and the pieces come in several different shapes. Your job is to fit them into the empty spaces of the board.

How to play TenTrix

You always have three pieces to pick from, lined up along the lower edge of the screen. Click one, drag it over the grid and release it where you want it to sit; pieces can only go on squares that are still free. When all three have found a home, a fresh set of three arrives. Because every piece has its own shape, choosing which of the three to place first is part of the puzzle.
